In 14mm Como silk twill, this square scarf carries a large abstract flower form across a Terracotta ground — the petals rendered in Cobalt and Steel, a Bordeaux centre detail anchoring the composition at its heart. The Terracotta ground is the governing decision: it gives the cool Cobalt petals an intensity they would not carry on a neutral or pale field, the warm earth tone and the deep blue working against each other with the particular clarity of well-chosen contrast.
